The 100-Foot Putt Challenge is more than a competition—it's a day out in Historic Biltmore Village.
Join us for a casual daytime Block Party set against an incredible soundtrack, with local shopping, dining, drinks, and plenty of reasons to wander the Village. Kipper Schauer (@kipperisrad) sets the mood with a laid-back mix of favorites as you shop, dine, gather with friends, and enjoy the Block Party atmosphere before the putt gets underway.
You don't have to compete to be part of the fun. Spectators are free and encouraged!

The 100-Foot Putt Challenge deserves a putting green worthy of the occasion—and Southwest Greens of Asheville is making it happen.
As our Presenting Sponsor, Southwest Greens is creating a custom, professional-level putting experience specifically for the challenge, with slopes, contours, obstacles and water features designed to make this 100-foot putt anything but ordinary.
Southwest Greens brings decades of golf expertise to the project through its longstanding partnership with Nicklaus Design, founded by golf legend Jack Nicklaus. The Southwest Greens and Nicklaus Design partnership dates back to 2004 and has produced custom putting greens using sophisticated design principles, precise dimensions, slopes, elevations, and contours.
For the 100-Foot Putt Challenge, that expertise comes to Historic Biltmore Village—giving competitors a professional-quality surface and spectators a putting challenge that's going to be seriously fun to watch.

How It Works
Participants will purchase a ticket to attempt a 100-foot putt. One ticket = One Opportunity.
Sink the putt and make history. Lifetime bragging rights, eternal glory.
If no one holes the putt, the participant closest to the cup wins the Grand Prize.
Prizes for 1st and 2nd runner up.
Open to golfers, the golf curious, and people of all ages and skill levels.
Proceeds benefit The Cathedral of All Souls’ restoration project.

We're bringing some serious golf knowledge to the 100-Foot Putt Challenge.
Members of the UNC Asheville Women’s Golf Team will be on hand to help manage and officiate the competition, keeping the challenge moving and making sure every putt gets its moment.
The Bulldogs are coming off a remarkable season, including a runner-up finish at the 2026 Big South Women's Golf Championship and the first NCAA Tournament appearance by a women's golfer in program history.
They're also bringing a new home to their program: the Sherri and Rob Daniels Golf Center, which opened in 2026 with golf simulators and a state-of-the-art putting area.
We're thrilled to have these talented student-athletes helping make the inaugural challenge happen—and we're pretty sure they'll have a few opinions about what makes a good putt.
